PF-00835231 exhibits antiviral potency with little cytotoxicity in Vero 76 (EC50/CC50 in 66 hrs = 4.8/452 μM; SARS CoV-1 MOI = 0.26) and MRC5 cultures (50% vs. 20% MRC5 survivial with or without 90 nM PF-00835231 4 days post HCoV 229E infection; CC50 >40 μM).
