PerkinElmer Variable-Angle Specular Reflectance Accessory

The Variable-Angle Reflectance Accessory allows measurement of reflectance spectra at angles of incidence between 15° and 80°. Includes Flat Reference Mirror and three Aperture masks (2 mm, 5 mm, and 10 mm). This accessory is compatible with the Spectrum 3/Frontier spectrometers.

The Variable-Angle Specular Reflectance Accessory can be used to obtain a spectrum of any flat, reflecting surface on plate or sheet material. Measurements of reflectance are useful in quality control of optical materials and for obtaining information about the crystalline structure of a material. The Variable-Angle Specular Reflectance Accessory can be used to:
• Measure reflection spectra of dielectrics at optimum angle
• Measure reflection-absorption spectra of thin films
• Measure refractive index and thickness of thin films
• Measure refractive indices from reflectance spectra using the Kramers-Kronig transformation
