Application
Lithium chloride can be used as a catalyst in the:
- Mukaiyama-type Mannich reaction of methylsilyl enol ethers with arylaldimines to synthesize β-amino carbonyl compounds.
- Microwave-irradiated chemo- and regioselective demethylation of aryl methyl ethers.
- Aza-Michael addition reaction of pyrazoles to α,β-unsaturated imides.
