Specifications

For thimble ducting Class II, Type A2 Biosafety Cabinets. Canopy provides an air gap to allow room air to enter the ductwork and mix with the filtered air being exhausted to the outside. Inadequate exhaust activates the switch in less than one second and triggers the Class II, Type A2 biosafety cabinet to signal an audio and visual alarm via the LCD display. The motor also increases to maximum speed for personal safety during exhaust failure.

Adds only 1.25 in. to the overall height of the cabinet. Powder-coated steel. Outlet is 10 in. (25.4 cm) I.D. Exhaust connection is required. Damper (Cat. No. 496-27848) and Remote Blower (Cat. No. 346-16834 or 496-21058) are recommended (not included).
