Uranyl Nitrate, Hexahydrate, Crystal, Reagent, ACS is a yellow green crystal and is water soluble as well as being soluble in acetone, ethanol and ether. It is mainly used as a negative stain for viruses in electron microscopy. It also stabilizes nucleic acids and cell membranes in tissue samples and is also vital for nuclear reprocessing.
