T4 RNA Ligase

One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme required to catalyze 1nmol of 5'-[32P]-(A)12-18 to a phosphatase-indigestible cyclic product within 30 minutes at 37℃.Application：3'-end labeling of RNA; joining RNA to RNA; cyclization of oligonucleotides; tRNA modification; ligation of oligonucleotides to single-stranded cDNA for 5' RACE; introduction of unnatural amino acids at specific sites in proteins.Source：T4 RNA Ligase expressed in E. coli.Enzyme storage buffer：10mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 1mM DTT, 50mM KCl, 0.1mM EDTA, 50% (v/v) glycerol.Reaction Buffer：500mM HEPES-NaOH(pH8.0 at 25℃)，100mM MgCl2，100mM DTT。Inactivation or inhibition：T4 RNA Ligase can be inactivated by incubation at 70℃ for 10 minutes.Precautions：The amount of ATP to be added to the reaction system depends on the type of ligation reaction. The recommended concentration of BSA in the reaction mixture is 0.1mg/ml.T4 RNA Ligase should be kept on ice when handling and stored at -20℃ immediately after use.This kit is for R&D only.
