Prevent vapor leakage into the atmosphere with a closed solvent supply system Robust threaded ports accept 1/4"-28 UNF(M) fittings Anti-twist design These Q-series solvent caps ensure a leak-free, vapor-tight seal to protect lab staff from exposure to toxic fumes, prevent ingress of particulates, and prevent evaporation of solvent. The anti-twist design lets the PTFE body spin freely within the cap. No need to disconnect the fluid lines before unscrewing the cap—no more twisted tubes when the cap is fitted or removed. Compact design caps are ideal when head space is limited. Caps have 0.07" (1.8 mm) through-holes allowing 1/16" OD semi-rigid tubing to pass through into the bottle. Use 1/4"-28 UNF(M) fittings to connect other size semi-rigid tubing or use DibafitTM PEEKTM thread-to-barb adapters to connect flexible tubing. Each port features a stainless steel thread insert to enable repeated connect/disconnect. All caps are autoclavable and withstand pressure from -10 to 20 psi. A 12-1/4" (31 cm) long, 1/8" OD PTFE tubing is supplied fitted inside the cap and extending into the bottle.
