General description
Sodium tripolyphosphate (STPP) is widely employed as a deflocculant. The major applications of STPP as laundry detergents and cleansing agents. STPP provides benefits such as pH buffering, soil emulsification and hard water sequestration for effective surfactant performance.
Application

- In the preparation of chitosan nanoparticles (CSNPs) by ionic gelation.
