A stain used in histopathology for the staining of glycogen polysaccharides or in combination with the Periodic Acid-Schiff reaction.

CONTENTS: Basic Fuchsin, Sodium Sulfite, HCl

This solution is made from certified dyes.

FOR IN VITRO DIAGNOSTIC USE ONLY.

RECOMMENDED PROCEDURE: Stain time required in the Schiff Reagent is 10 - 15 minutes using standard PAS method.

RESULTS: Glycogen polysaccharides (carbohydrates) stain magenta to purple indicating a "PAS positive".
