Q-POD REMOTE DISPENSER

General description

Always have rapid and convenient access to pressurized Type 1 ultrapure water. This ergonomic dispenser is compact and intuitive to use, supporting an efficient working environment. Essential system functions remain close at hand on the Q-POD^® touchscreen interface.
For use with Milli-Q^® IQ 7000 and 7003/05/10/15 water purification systems.

Application

The Q-POD^® remote dispenser is designed to provide flexible delivery of Type 1 ultrapure water with variable flow rates and volumetric dispensing.

Features and Benefits

• Up to 4 Q-POD^® dispensers can be connected to a single water purification system.
• The Q-POD^® can be installed up to 2 or 5 m distance (depending on the connector) from the main production unit.
• 6 different final filters can be connected to target specific contaminants and remove them right when dispensing ultrapure water.
• The 5" touchscreen with bright, colored LCD is easy to read and convenient to use, even with gloves on. It is located at eye level and orientable (120°). It has a USB port to easily export data.
• Navigation in operating and dispensing modes is intuitive, without spending time going through multiples menus to find the information.
• Graphic icons on the display allow all users to quickly and easily operate the system.
• Comprehensive information displayed on the screen (water quality, system status, tank level, operating mode, volume dispensed) allows to always dispense the expected water quality.
• Three modes to dispense ultrapure water:
• Variable flow (8 different flow rates adjusted using the dispensing wheel: from real drop-by-drop at 0.05 L/min up to full flow up to 2 L/min).
• Volumetric water dispensing automatically delivers a specific water volume, from 20 mL to 100 L (in 1 mL increments).
• Assisted water dispensing allows to auto-dispense a pre-selected volume and to deliver the last few milliliters drop by drop; this lets the user manually stop the flow when the calibration mark is reached.
• The water dispenser has more than 1,500 positions (up to 30 horizontal notched positions, 360° around, and 54 vertical notched positions). Hence, daily operations are easier because the dispenser is well adapted to the size and shape of all containers used in the laboratory.
• Can be installed on a wall-mounted horizontal articulated extension, allowing for maximum bench space.
