The inhibition efficiency of potassium ferrocyanide in phosphoric acid solution against the corrosion of mild steel has been investigated.Potassium hexacyanoferrate(II) trihydrate is applied in formation of a xerogel via a cyanogel, the gel has potential use in solid-state gas sensors.
