General description

The Plas-Labs compact glove box features cleanliness, safety, complete containment, porability, and a draft-free atmosphere. The tall profile has a small footprint and is especially suited for hazardous materials to be weighed.

The compact glove box chamber is ideal for determining the dry weight or moisture content of aqueous solutions, adhesives, cereals, toxic chemicals, pharmaceuticals, paper, plastics, and light radioactive materials. It minimizes product degradation caused by moisture absorption.

The compact glove box may also be used with analytical balances, top loaders, bench scales and moisture analyzers, and is suitable for handling toxic materials and pharmaceuticals.

  • Adjustable SS clamp
  • Ambidextrous Hypalon® gloves with SS O-rings
  • Transparent transfer chamber (12 L × 11 in. I.D.) with adjustable vacuum gauge
  • White levelling tray for transferring liquids through the transfer chamber
  • Four purge valves, two on transfer chamber, two on main chamber
  • HEPA and organic vapour canister filters (replaceable)
