Polyethersulfone (PES) membrane filters are
hydrophilic, have high flow rates, symmetric structure,
and a low non-specific protein adsorption . They are
chemically resistant over a pH range of 1-14. and are
therefore recommended for the filtration of aqueous
solutions as well as for the filtration of proteins. A
low level of extractables also makes them suitable for
environmental analysis.
