Application
n-Octane is used as:
- A oil phase in the preparation of zinc carbonate particles by reverse microemulsion technique.
- As a diluents in the solvent extraction of REEs(rare-earth elements) with extracting agent D2EHPA [di-(2-ethylhexyl)phosphoric acid].
