General description

This certified analytical reference standard is suitable for a variety of GC/MS or LC/MS applications from pain prescription monitoring, clinical toxicology, and urine drug testing to pharmaceutical research and forensic analysis.

Morphine is a natural phenolic alkaloid, commonly used as an analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. Sold under trade names including MS Contin^®, Kadian^®, Oramorph^®, and Roxanol, morphine is also a commonly abused recreational drug due to its widespread availability and a high potential for addiction.
