Loperamide is an antidiarrheal agent used in controlling acute nonspecific diarrhea and chronic diarrhea associated with inflammatory bowel diseases.
Application
Loperamide hydrochloride may be used as an analytical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in biological fluids using various chromatography techniques.
