Application
Lithium chloride can be used:
- In the preparation of LiCl-PAM (polyacrylamide) ion-conducting neutral polymer electrolyte with ionic conductivity >10 mS cm−1 .
- As an efficient catalyst in the cyanosilylation of aldehydes and ketones to the corresponding silylated cyanohydrins.
- As a reaction medium in combination with N,N-dimethylacetamide for the esterification of cellulose.
