General description
Lithiumacetylacetonate is a coordination used as a precursor to producelithium-containing materials with various applications such as in organic light-emittingdiodes (OLEDs), lithium-ion batteries, and as a catalyst in organic synthesis.It is also used as a stabilizer for polymeric electrolytes in lithiumbatteries and as a curing agent for epoxy resins.
Application
Lithium acetylacetonate [Li(acac)] is used in the preparation of LiMn2O4 nanoparticles. Li(acac) covered with aluminium was used as an efficient electron injection layer in organic light-emitting devices (OLEDs). Fabrication of electrospun graphene-embedded Li4Ti5O12 nanofibers for lithium ion batteries has been reported.
