Application

Lead(II) telluride (PbTe) is a narrow bandgap semiconductor with good electrical properties. It is a thermoelectric material with thermal conductivity of ~2 Wm⁻¹K⁻¹ at 300 K, which can be used in thermoelectric power generation and energy conversion.
