The Pongo&trade Antibiotic Resistance (ABR) Panel A, v1.0, is a qualitative, singleplex, nucleic acid in-vitro PCR amplification assay that detects various molecular antibiotic resistance markers.

A class of polypeptide antibiotics isolated from the Steptomyces soil bacteria. Actinomycin D inhibits transcription by binding to DNA at the transcription initiation complex and therefore preventing elongation by the RNA polymerase.

Contains 10,000 units/ml of penicillin (base), 10 mg/ml of streptomycin (base), and 25 &microg/ml of amphotericin B in 0.85% saline.
