This large percentage of void volume provides a highly permeable support for incubating membranes and gels. Flow-Mesh protects filter or gel from tearing, bending and folding while being inserted into a confined space such as a hybridization bag or a roller bottle. Mesh also provides support during incubation with nucleic acid probes, equilibration buffers, etc. in an incubation bottle, bag, tray or other container. Both sides of a gel or membrane are assured constant solution access which improves the uniformity of hybridizations and binding assays. May be acid washed, treated with organic solvents or sterilized by autoclaving without being harmed. Dimensions: 8 1/2" x 11".
