These cellulose thimbles are primarily designed to fit the Soxhlet apparatus and potential applications include environmental monitoring (e.g. separation of dust, aerosols, gas or air streams) and food control (e.g. extraction of fats, emulsifiers or additives). They are free of binders and offer a high purity which ensures consistent and high overall flow rates. Typical wall thickness are 1.3 mm for inner diameters lower than 35 mm and 1.7mm for inner diameters higher than 35 mm.
