A fluorescent electrophoretic stain for nucleic acids. It is used as a nucleic acid intercalating agent and frameshift mutagen. Ethidium Bromide solution in dropper form makes dispensing safer and convenient to use. Each drop contains about 25Î¼g of Ethidium Bromide and is perfectly suited for a 50ml agarose gel. Simply add one drop of the Ethidium Bromide solution per 50ml gel solution (before gelation) and cast your gel.
