Silver Diethyldithiocarbamate, Reagent, ACS is useful in the colorimetric determination of arsenic and the introduction of the diethyldithiocarbamato ligand. Silver diethyldithiocarbamate is also useful as a copper chelator. Shown to measure copper in biological materials by ESR. Shown to detect NO in kidney, brain, liver, and other tissues via spin trap when used in conjunction with Fe2+. Silver diethyldithiocarbamate is reported to directly and simultaneously measure NO and PO2.
