Tellurite Blood Agar Base, 500 g

This medium is recommended for the isolation and cultivation of Streptococcus species from clinical and nonclinical specimens. The media can be supplemented with sterile defibrinated blood to prepare blood agar.

Charcoal Blood HiVeg⢠Agar Base is recommended for the cultivation of Bordetella pertussis for vaccine production and also for the maintenance of stock cultures. Addition of sterile defibrinated horse blood provides enrichment to the media."
